Riviera Labs is looking for a part-time AI Training Assistant to help support machine learning and deep learning projects in healthcare and biomedical research. You’ll work with our research and coding team to prepare data, train models, and keep things organized. This is a flexible remote job, ideal for students in their final year or anyone looking to gain hands-on experience in AI in a scientific setting.

  • Help organize and prepare biological and clinical data for training AI models
  • Run training scripts and track model results with team guidance
  • Document your work clearly and help monitor for training issues
  • Work with the team to summarize findings and improve workflows
  • Join online meetings to share updates and learn from others
  • Background or current studies in Computer Science, Data Science, Biomedical
    Engineering, or related field
  • Experience with Python and machine learning tools like PyTorch or TensorFlow
  • Some knowledge of working with biological, clinical, or imaging data is a plus
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and reliable
  • Good communication skills and ability to work remotely
  • Strong final-year undergraduates are encouraged to apply
  • Hourly rate: $45–$60/hour based on experience
  • Flexible hours, ~10–20 hours per week
  • This is a contractor role with no benefits
